I followed them in my car to another location to see if we could spot it….Well, happy to say I did!! Another Lifer for me. I was too thrilled for words!
The Northern Hawk-Owl, or Northern Hawk Owl in North America, is a non-migratory owl that usually stays within its breeding range, though it sometimes irrupts southward. It is one of the few owls that is not nocturnal or crepuscular.
